It works great so far. Heavy and sturdy and it came with all necessary pieces to set all components up. Highly recommend for carpet floors.
Jude P.
Wanted something sturdy and that I could fold up and put away when not in use. Looked at a few options then decided on the GT Omega based on reviews and value. Assembly was straight forward and stand is very sturdy and well made. Lots of hardware included to fit just about any wheel pedal combo out there.
Benjamin N.
Excellent stand at a great price! Super sturdy, no flex when using a fanatec dd wheel base with feedback boost module and csl pedals.
Lots of extra hardware for any and all peripherals, all holes lined up so no drilling required. I used vehicle cable conduit and velcro strips for tidy cable management. Easily folds and tucks away. Very pleased!
Dale c.
Bought apex as i needed a strong robust stand to accommodate thrustmaster t gt2 that i had just ordered. The wheel mounting plate semi accepts the wheel, i had to modify thrustmasters washers(Dremel). This stand is awesome solid as a rock with plenty of adjustability for both wheel and pedal angels. Thinking about adding to it now with seat from gt omega. Top notch
James C.
Love the frame and its flexibility. Holds my G923 perfectly and is comfortable for my size.
Ivan G.
Great for the price!
Jim J.
I was apprehensive about getting this. Wasn’t sure if it’s going to fit with my couch, but long story short it does it’s the bomb I am a 54 year old man passes prime and I love it lol.
Athanasios N.
It does what it's supposed to do. Very sturdy. Acceptable adjustability for newcomers to sim racing like me. It ticks most of the boxes. Keep in mind its probably heavier than you expect, due to the sturdy materials.
Darren H.
Fantastic product. Solid build and excellent for all wheel and pedal types. Heaps better than the smallish desk I was using before.
Jelle d.
Great folding, just hides in the corner when not in use. Very stable with a G923 and force back set to 50%
Ben S.
Awesome quality stand. Very stable and well built. Works perfectly for a living room setup using my recliner as a seat.
William S.
It’s a good heavy sturdy unit.
I’m using a Logitech G29 set up
Now I have to find a suitable seat
The frame doesn’t move at all
Heavy construction really helps though I don’t know about folding it up to put away. For me that’s a plus. The weight keeps it rigid. There is reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars
If you want the gearshift you’ll have to sacrifice how low you can have the wheel. Without the shifter it’s a good 2-3 inches lower which I find is the best position.
With the shifter installed and using a kitchen chair the wheel is still too high. That for me is the only downfall. GT Omega should look at this and maybe find a solution.

The precut holes on the Omega stand didn't line up with the new, smaller Moza R5 I have, but I was able to attach the wheel base using the table clamp which has been very secure through the first week of use. The SRP-lite pedals that come with the R5 bundle were a little more difficult to attach, but I was able to get it lined up and attached securely without having to cut any holes of my own. The wheel stand itself has been really sturdy, with the occasional flex movement when turning. The entire wheel stand moved sideways twice after 20+hours, only when turning or braking very aggressively, but that means over 99% of the time it stays where it's supposed to. The ability to adjust the height of the wheel and the angle of the pedals is so easy. I was able to get it into a comfortable position immediately. Overall, this wheel base is a great value and I would recommend to anyone that doesn't have the space or money for a full sim cockpit.

The GT Omega Apex is an amazing steering wheel stand. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the stand and the price. I got it on a sales, but the full price is still worth it. I needed something compact that I can store easily, and I'm pleasantly surprised how well it fits in my laundry room as you can see in the picture. Beware of the weight though, it's a bit heavy. It took me almost a week to get it shipped here, in the EU outside of the UK, with no extra costs.
It came in pre built, except for a few things like the wheel plate, twhich was fairly easy to mount with the instructions. Speaking of instructions, they were pretty basics and lacked more detailing, but you can easily find a tutorial online. I was relieved to see that stand came with all the tools you needed to fix the wheel and the pedals. It comes with different types of screws and so on for any type of wheels, so thanks GT Omega.
For the actual gameplay, it's very sturdy, seriously. I don't feel any wobble when playing F1 2022, I haven't tested any other games yet with it. You can adjust the height of the wheel aswel. I like that it comes with straps for cable management. For storing, it takes probably 5 to 10 minutes to fold and you can keep the wheel and pedals on.
Overall, it's been two weeks and I had no issue so far. It's a great purchase for anyone that looks for a sturdy and compact wheel that comes with an interesting price.
Deniss L.
Cons:
-Rust on plate where pedals are mounted.
-One of the bottom corners has a dint in it and slightly bend frame, can be leveled with rubber standoffs. But still kinda sucks.
Pros:
- It's doing what it is intended for.
- it's not flexing or moving when gaming.
Nuno M.
Just like advertised.
Excellent!
Solid and easy to set up.
Perfect for small houses or simply to optimize the space.
A real joy!
Craig S.
It showed up on time, was heavier and better made than I was expecting for the price but I've put it together and feels a lot better than using a pc desk.
Troy McEntire M.
Use this on my game trucks with the puma playseat. Set up provides ages 5 years old and up.
Zach f.
Absolutely love it works great with my logitech g2920
Colin D.
Top quality build, very strong and zero flex. The stand is very easy to construct and all mounting points are very precise with mounting bolts provided for wheel, pedals and shifter. It also folds away very nicely when space is limited. Using with a Thrustmaster T248.
Andreas R.
Very solid and good built quality. Maybe one improvement idea: Possibilty to move the plate for the base for- and backwards.
Braedon R.
Everything is amazingly sturdy, much more so than I expected a wheel stand could be. My only gripes are the non adjustable shifter location and the fact that the shifter plate isn't wide enough to fit a handbrake on there simultaneously.
Last gripe: it's a little flighty when really pushing it, I've had my sequential shifter (pictured) end up scooting the whole wheel stand up if I'm not careful about how I downshift.
Still a great product, I expected less and received way more than I realistically though was possible to offer at such a price and form factor. Well done, I look forward to buying your cockpit addon for the stand!
James P.
Love the stand! The T248 fits perfectly and the stand is rock solid. The T16000 HOTAS can only mount with one screw, but a velcro strip helps keeps them both in place without any modifications. A big shout out to the customer support from Lawrence who was quick with the responses and got the stand shipped out quickly.
Jan G.
The wheelstand is amazing. It is delivered by UPS though, which is always annoying.
Matthew W.
Would heavily appreciate if there were actual physical examples around to try out before buying. I am very put off from buying the seat frame and chair before knowing that I will sit in one comfortably.
Jimmy M.
Amazing and very sturdy product for the price! Arrived within a few days.
Steve M.
Limited space, as I have to move as running in my office. It is a bit on the heavy side, but very sturdy, doesn’t move at all, well worth the money, thoroughly enjoy the experience thankyou
Pierre G.
well built,easy to built,really solid
very good
greg r.
Very strong and stable. Much better than I expected. Excellent product, and I'm super pleased I bought your frame rather than the "slightly" cheaper alternative. You get a better quality product for only slightly more. Super happy with your goods. Nice stuff!
Joseph R.
recently got into sim racing and wanted to get away from forza and a controller. so this was my first step into sim racing and it was a good idea, I purchased the rear seat frame as well and I love that it has an atachment point for an e brake as I prefer drifting.
Dashiell S.
Arrived fast and it’s very sturdy.
Joseph P.
Solid as a rock. Using it with my recliner and there's enough customisation for me to get comfortable.
Well, as comfortable as possible while gripping my wheel and shifter in a deathgrip.
Dean F.
This is a fantastic solution for a desktop PC gamer. My Logitech G923 wheel, pedals and shifter all bolt in easily and all the parts are included. It takes 5 minutes to unfold the stand, shuffle it up to and under the desk and then plugin. It's a fantastic solution if you don't want a dedicated sim setup or a setup that allows for things other than driving.
Logan R.
I found it looking for wheel stands before I had even priced out a wheel. I took a shot not doing research and ended up with an amazing product
Conner S.
CSL DD, worth it
Jeff B.
Apart from the USB cable being too short, it’s perfect. Solid, doesn’t shift around. Looking forward to upgrading to a rear seat frame someday
Kai T.
Best sim stand at a great price! Could not believe the difference in immersion that a solid stand can make. Easy to set up, easy to stow away, easy to have fun and be fast on the sim. Love it!
Sergio Z.
Product of very good quality, robust support to support a fanatec DD pro base, the shipment was very fast and it was well protected, I totally recommend this product.
Steven D.
Great solid piece of kit. Using with a logitech g923 wheel and pedals and it doesn't move about. In fact, when I'm not using the gearshift, I can put a cup of tea on the shift plate and it stays there while playing dirt 2.0!
Only thing I would change is to be able to move the wheel closer to me without it increasing the height. Sitting in a lower position for F1 2022, where I need the pedals further away ( even with the pedals on the furthest setting on the pedal plate), I need to bring the wheel closer, but this also raises the height of the wheel.
Other than that, it makes racing games so much better.
Andrew S.
Awesome and easy purchase - The Apex steering wheel stand is awesome.
Andy G.
Great company to buy from, solid and well built stand
Robert J.
Top quality, heavy duty and rock solid. This is everything I needed and it folds away fairly neatly too. Be prepared though, it's is quite heavy even without a wheel attached so not suitable for lugging round the house too much. I love it though!
Michael S.
My Apex stand is legit! Heavy and solid and does not move or flex at all, even with strong ffb. Great build quality and I will look to GT Omega first for my sim racing needs, going forward.
I also love that I can do add ons with seat and frame to complete the cockpit at a later date, rather than having to start over with a complete cockpit, and spend more money. Very happy.
Sven G.
I was searching for a good wheelstand and watched a lot of Reviews. This Omega Apex was so amaizing in the Videos, so I ordered it for my birthday as a present for myself. And it is way better the I expected. Love it
Paul D.
A great product, and can't ask for more value for money.
After finally biting the bullet and investing in a wheel / pedal setup, I was in the market for a wheel stand that was suited to an environment that is very limited on floor space. After scouring the Internet for options, I eventually settled on the GT Omega APEX Steering Wheel Stand as the price was very competitive, and most importantly, it folded up...
Unpacking and assembling the stand alone wouldn't have taken much more than 30 minutes, with all the fixings and tools provided to do so. In addition, the pedal plate more than happily took the Fanatec CSL Pedals (large diameter M6 washers proved important for me) and the wheel base plate also happily takes the Fanatec CSL DD Pro wheel base, despite this not being listed as a compatible model on the website (the list is probably just out of date a little).
One thing to note, and I suppose I don't know what I was expecting when I bought it, was the weight. It is... heftier... than I expected. With the wheel base and pedals attached, It will be over 30kg. However this considerable heft also means it is much stiffer than expected. I had thought a stand designed to fold would have some natural flex or compliance, but there's nothing. It's built like a tank and the hard rubber feet mean it doesn't slip either. So as far as I am concerned, the beefier-than-expected weight and a minor workout when putting it away, is a price worth paying for the performance.
Christopher B.
I was considering the Omega or similar priced stands, but decided to pay a bit more for the Apex. It folds away easily keeping everything attached which is fantastic. However it weighs close to 20kg, so hooking it up on the wall or in the garage needs some planning.
The weight means this stand is rock steady in use with my G920. The instructions were easy to follow and there is plenty of adjustment to find a comfortable position (I'm 6'2").
Neil M.
Fantastic stand. Heavy but folds easily for storage. Best on the market in the price range!
Jasdip N.
Rock solid, good price

This equipment has enhanced my driving simulation experience. It is relatively well made, and once constructed forms a very rigid, stable platform.
It was despateched promptly, with good communications regarding its transit progress.
The downside was two-fold. Firstly, the instructions are very poor, way to small, with vague illustrations of the various fittings and screws. Secondly, WHY OH WHY is this, and other associated equipment made in China !!! ???? - Surely there's a great little foundry somewhere in the UK that can make what is a relatively simple construction. I, and I'm sure many others, would willingly pay a few more ££s to have it made in the UK (but why should it cost more without import costs??). Thank you. Doug G.

If you're short of space and want a sturdy platform, look no further.
For the money, it is absolutely fantastic.

I've been a desk-racer since I started getting into sim racing. Ran the Logitech G920 for the best part of half a decade before it decided to give in the ghost.
I was looking to upgrade my setup, and decided that something with a bit more "umph" would be worthwhile, stepping away from the gear driven nature of the Logitech. I realised that this meant I could no longer adequately run the desk setup either. So I started having a look for stands/racing setups.
I finally settled on the GT Omega as my choice and bit the bullet, as I felt it hit the sweet spot when it comes to price vs quality.
I have to say that it's been nothing short of spectacular the entire time I've been using it (just under a year at the time of writing). I've done several races, including long stints in enduros as well up to 12 hours.
It's absolutely rock solid, even though it doesn't look as sturdy as some others. Doesn't move around at all once everything is screwed in. I have it permanently setup in my office, as it's still small enough to keep to the side and not get in the way.
Since I'm predominantly a VR racer, this has been revolutionary in terms of the immersion that I get from the sim. I can set the stand to be exactly the height that I want it, ensuring that the wheel no longer sits in my lap and is instead up around my chest where it should be. As well as angle the wheel exactly how I want it to ensure it's comfortable.
Since I bought the product, I've moved home and it survived the journey in the back of a van without any problems - even with a distinct lack of care (which I was a bit worried about).
Hats off to Apex, this is a quality product.
tl;dr - buy it.
Martin A.
Can't fault this driving frame. It is solidly made and very robust. Quite straight forward to build with no headaches. The only one niggle would be the huge assortment of screws for mounting different wheels, gear levers etc. It's great being supplied with different sizes but a huge array of screws in a bag with no specific labeling turned things into a time consuming lucky dip. That said, to be supplied with everything you need no matter what wheel you have, is a real plus. Once you've worked out what the beast fit is for your wheel etc, it's easy and holds things very securely. The frame standing on my wooden floor with its rubber feet doesn't go anywhere. I have load cell pedals and even with a bit of force on the brake pedal, the whole frane sits still. More than can be said for my office chair that is on wheels and shifts around, but I knew that would be an issue. It's certainly not the frames fault. All in all for the price and a convenient way to get your wheel and pedals set up, you could do a lot worse.
Jeffrey A.
Really solid. Super easy to configure and once set, can be moved easily without affecting the setup.
sean T.
I find the stand to be a quality product, it's sturdy, folds up nicely, and it's metal construction gives it the solid feel that keeps one immersed in the game.
The reason I dropped one star is that I feel the instructions can be more clear. I found myself questioning which screws were used for certain parts leading to confusion and adding time to the build. Once it was figured out it feels great. Not only have I used it for my racing wheel, but I tried my flight stick on it and it was wonderful (though lining it's screw holes up took some patience).
Tim D.
Brilliant bit of kit - should have bought one ages ago :-)
David S.
Excellent product, excellent service. Can’t recommend enough
Eoin O.
Using with 8Nm Fanatec DD, holds up very well and is easy to fold away. It was a little difficult to mount CSL pedals but they're rock solid now.
HUBERT K.
Un très bon rapport qualité prix!!
ANDREW B.
After 4 months of using a child sized ikea chair and half a coffee table as a "rig", this Apex stand is without doubt, a massive improvement. My posture is
better, I now have a complete coffee table and the cat has her chair back 10/10 very sturdy and doesn't take up much space
Miguel S.
Strong and very happy !
Joaquim A.
Playing with Gt Omega wheel stand It changes everything, the best experience if you like motorsport. Highly recommend.
Gary G.
Well built and engineered
Andrew B.
It's a great stand, I love the weight and stability of it. It isn't necessarily designed for a table top mount, but it works, and it will be ready for when I choose to upgrade my wheel.
Matthew H.
Got this to 1. Take the pressure off my desk. A T300 isn't a weak wheel but then my desk isn't a strong one. 2. Get rid of aches and pains (particularly in my back) during long drives on mainly ETS2 but other games too. 3. It isn't too big as I don't have a lot of space. Pleased to say this has helped fix my problems. Its very solid. Just waiting on a keyboard and mouse tray I ordered the day before prior to this review. To say its original pricing is 150 quid isn't bad at all. Its not light at all which probably explains why it doesn't move at all when using it and its pretty much built for you. Its more a case of attaching your wheel and finding a good position which can take its time. All in all its a very good buy for anyone wanting a good wheel stand.
Kim S.
It provides a solid base for standard racing peripherals. Can't say whether it would be sturdy enough for a direct drive FFB wheel but is good for my Thrustmaster T500RS set.
I'm a casual sim racer who doesn't have space for a full rig but this fits the bill for me.
Bought this based on a couple of reviews on YouTube and glad I did. Not one of the most expensive stands you can buy but for me it was definitely worth the money.
Highly recommended!
Christopher S.
A friend recommended the GT Omega Apex stand, and it is exactly what I wanted. A simple yet very effective stand, very easy to set up and compatible with my wheel and pedals. It is sturdy enough to stay in place and handle the movement of the wheel without any problems, yet still movable and not too heavy, plus it is also easily adjustable so finding the right position for the wheel and pedals relative to the seat is easy. As a novice wheel user who didn't want to fork out loads for a good quality rig, this stand ticked all the boxes and I'm very happy with it.
Robert S.
I recently got into sim racing and discovered the GT Omega Apex through various reddit posts about wheel stands. My space is tight so I wanted something that could fold away when not in use. What I love about the Apex is the weight, it doesn't move at all when racing! Only thing that could potentially be better is the cross bar supporting the wheel base doesn't leave a lot of room for a clamp-on wheel. I found out after assembly that my wheel (Thrustmaster TMX) is actually not fully supported by this wheel stand, but I was able to make it work by off-setting the wheel about an inch.
Eduardo P.
Solid, stable, and adjustable. Awesome.
Manuel Jesus M.
It is fantastic, it´s strong and robust. steering wheel works perfect
it's how i wanted
Ben
After watching a lot of videos about different wheel stands, I was led to believe that there would always be a compromise on rigidity with a wheel stand. Decided to go with the Apex mainly because of the price and I am not disappointed at all. I don't notice any wobble or flex when in use, even in the shifter mount. Very quick to set up and put away, especially after adding a USB hub and extension lead to the stand. I should have bought one a lot sooner! The only change I would make is having one extra hole in the shifter bracket to bring it a bit closer. For the price, it's a great wheel stand.
Stefan Dyg P.
Awesome bang for the buck! Great stability and flexibility, I love it!
roderick k.
Very happy with my purchase of the Apex wheelstand, suit's my need's perfectly, excellent quality, really sturdy, and very easy to assemble, even for this 67 year old.
The price was amazing, as was the fantastically quick delivery, so great job all connected with you at GT, thank you.
Jason E.
Very easy to assemble and put away. Its exactly what i needed.
Fábio R.
Really nice whell stand, sturdy and pratical!
Ivan F.
All good so far. Really easy to fold and store in small rooms. Also, it supports the Thrustmaster T248 despite the fact that it is not officially mentioned on the website.
Ez C.
Perfect stepping stone before a proper rig
Evan M.
Heard about you guys in r/simracing on Reddit when searching for a wheel stand. This one was highly praised and recommended by the members there. So far I really like it and cant wait to expand it with the seat frame and seat!
Stephen W.
A great sturdy wheel stand that I can upgrade in the future
ELLIOT K.
Superbly sturdy - so much better than my ageing wheelstandpro - loadss legroom and it folds away very neatly
Stuart J.
I have a pro rig set up in another room that is connected to consoles. I needed another set up for my PC which I wanted to keep in a separate room. I was thinking of getting extended USB and HDMI cables but saw the Apex rig and thought that it would fit in to the limited space I had. I checked some Youtube reviews which rated it highly and I can confirm that it works perfectly. I am using a G920 wheel so I can't comment on direct drive but with the G920 the is no flex or movement (that I have noticed) in use. I am using a chair with castors which would move (when braking) if not for the fact that it is butted up to the end of my bed.
Construction was easy, there is plenty of adjustment and was easy to get into a comfortable position and it is so simple to fold up and store when not in use. I would definitely recommend.
Brad P.
This stand is great for a starter sim racing setup. I paired it with a Thrustmaster T248 and it bolted up perfectly. It's very sturdy and doesn't move under heavy breaking and acceleration. I highly recommend this if you are in the market.
garrethh c.
The stand is brill
Sean C.
Thought this would work with the Fanatec DD Pro and while the wheel mounted well, the pedals do not. Only able to screw it in at 3 positions and even there the pedals are slight off center.
Jeffrey J.
Watched lots of reviews, and this was rated the best for the value. I like that it has some weight to it. It is totally planted to the floor when I use it.
Karl J.
I only had to "mount" the wheel 3 times before I finally got it right! Loved it even within the first two attempts!
John M.
Very high quality no flex
Greg M.
Very pleased with it. Wasn't sure it would handle my DD pro that i ordered around the same time as its my first time buying any sim gear but it handles it great. No issues at all. Will be using until I eventually upgrade to an Omega cockpit.
Michael W.
Super fast delivery, very easy to fit together.
Fits in a very small place.
Highly recommend .
Kema N.
Using this with the CSL DD and I'm quite satisfied.
George F.
Solid product. Adjustable and much better racing now. Would recommend.
Scott Y.
Just getting started in sim racing and the apex wheel stand has been awesome. Thanks so much!
