XL-RS Simulator Seat      

Low level simulator made incredibly better with this seat! Absolutely love this seat and makes for great gaming.

XL RS seat has way too much flex! Seat twists to the left when you lean back. Left side hinge is not locked like the right side is, so the left side can just move freely. That hinge design should not be used with wide seat like XL RS! I used the seat few hours and my left shoulder and left side back muscles were sore for trying to keep my body straight while braking and using the 11 Nm wheel. I managed to fix the left side hinge to a one angle by attaching metal strip between two bolts. Now I can use the seat without any shoulder or back pain.

The only issue I have is the access to the mounting holes in the GT Omega seat slider. I can slide the seat forwards to access the 2 aft mounting holes of the slider bracket, in this way I can attach the bolt through these two aft holes to my rig. However the seat is not sliding far enough backwards to have access to the front two mounting holes (of the slider), the seat itself is blocking the front two mounting holes of the slider. If I had access to these two holes I will be able to fix them to the rig. The solustion was to cut and wrench to fit it in underneath the seat to fasten the front mounting bolts<

To begin with, the delivery was as advertised and securely packaged. The cost of delivery to the EU was also the same as stated. Unpacking and assembly was easy, with only a description of the office chairs and not the racing seat included. After a very complex installation on my rig, I can comment very positively on the comfort and functionality of the seat. From my side a purchase recommendation especially for people who are not exactly have Horse jockey size.

Front part of Seat slider doesn’t extend all the way forward so it doesn’t give any room to put in an Allen key to securely screw it down to rig Also the seat itself isn’t too comfortable, it doesn’t offer any type of support and can get uncomfortable if you are seated too long.

Was easy enough to install, comfortable and looks great.

Backrest is loose even if bolts are tight. A bit disapointing

My son had the regular sized chair previously but it was not a very comfortable fit ( 6’6”). As a result the previous seat wore out prematurely., the side bolster wore through in a little over a year. He says he loves the XL, it’s much more comfortable for him.

I’m a pretty big dude. 6’2 & 250 lbs. the chair is perfect. Doesn’t hug my sides, solid material, very comfy.

Wanted to go back to an adjustable seat from racing style bucket for variation in comfort. This seat provides that. The XL is plenty roomy for my larger frame. All in all a great purchase. The only downside was the process of affixing the seat to my 8020 chassis. I'm guessing it's the longer seat depth that prevents unobstructed access to the 4 bolts, regardless of how far forward or back the seat is on the sliders. Had to fashion a stubby allen key to access tightening. As said though, once secured this is a great seat.

First this seat is awesome! Really comfortable, good quality and so beautiful! It feels luxury just looking at it but also when using it. This help me drive better. The XL-RS worth it, you almost feel like you are in a real car. Adjustable just like in a car too. I could give 20 stars! Also, the service after sell is awesome at GT Omega. I had a problem with one of the zipper in the back and they sent me another back seat right away, from GB to Canada! I definitely recommend this seat to all my friends. I will also look for their frame and other stuff when it becomes available as all look really good quality. Thank you much GT Omega!

Had been looking at GT Omega for a long time while saving up to build an 80/20 rig. The XL-RS is better in person than in the pics. The seat is solid, comfortable, comes with sliders. Arrived in one week from placing the order and took about 10 minutes to assemble. The covering feels fantastic to the touch, the embroidered logos front and back are first class. With free shipping I have no idea how GT Omega makes money on this seat!! Hands down there is no better seat available in Canada, based on quality and price, than the GT Omega XL-RS.

This is a really good chair especially for the larger person. Really comfortable, and fits well with the other parts i bought.

Not sure if it’s a design fault because of how the back attatches to the base but the left side of my chair leans slightly further back than the right side and it’s really not a nice seating position. Will not be buying from gt omega again.

J’avais acheté un support GT omega pour mon pédalier/volant Thrustmaster T300 RS GT edition et il me manquait le fauteuil (pas top sur le canapé). J’ai commandé tout ce qu’il me manquait sur leur site (cadre arrière, fauteuil et roulettes). Commandé un dimanche soir, traité le lendemain (). Reçu avec un peu de retard à cause de la douane française, bien emballé. Pièces lourdes et solides et très faciles à installer. Je ne regrette pas mon achat.

Very nice chair, well-made and comfortable. I’m 6 feet and the chair fits fine.

I got 3 issues: My purchase was a while ago but I was able to use the seat only for 2-3 days now due to the delays of my sim rig. Issue 1: The front bolt holes are not accessible from the top like on a normal car seat so I can't just throw in some bolts and thighten them. It was really difficult to mount the seat to a aluminum profile. Issue 2: I don't know the reason but the bottom cushion gives me extreme pain in my buttocks on long sessions. Issue 3: Seat is really big and I knew this before buying, wanted the most comfortable seat. My height is 174 cm. and the lower back support is quite high so I need additional back support unfortunately. Due to these issues I have to give low rating, sorry.

The XL RS seat is a great choice for extended sessions of sim racing. Comfortable with the right element of support. The extra room in the seat makes for easy rig access and I would highly recommend it for the "larger" sim racer. GT Omega recognised this and have made a great seat for those that either need a little more room or an alternative to an overly tight bucket seat fit. Superb design, strong construction, great materials and finish all delivered with the top support of the GT Omega team!

The transfer lever did not move up enough. And then the seat did not move forward and backward. I had to modify a bit.

Very happy with my seat from GT Omega. I’m 6’2” and weigh 240. The seat is very comfortable and being able to adjust is done very easily. Took about 30 mins to mount rear frame and seat to classic wheel stand. Good value for money.

I am older and larger, don’t fit well in a true racing seat anymore. This seat fits me and is comfortable. Works well for me, very satisfied. Still trying to race at 68.

I mounted it on an Apex Wheel Stand + rear seat frame. While the wheel stand works well, I didn't find the seat particularly comfortable. Wouldn't reccomend it based on my experience.

Very pleased with the product quality. You can sit in there for hours without getting tired!

I Bought 3 years ago the wheelstand from GT Omega and was using a normal chair. This was not a good solution and becaus the wheelstand was moving a little bit. Since i bought the chair and make it together with the wheelstand is this problem solved and is it very comfertable to drive a race game. This 60 year old man is so happy as a child.

As you see l now have my XL RS Sim seat on classic rig which has made all the difference. Its very comfortable and me being a big fella it's ideal with the width on my back so GT Omega have done really well. I hope to upgrade in the near future and the prime SIM Rig has caught my eye.

I have lower back problems so I was quite apprehensive when purchasing this. Didn't need to be, it's really comfortable even for long races. It has minimal flex and feels solid and very sturdy. Just another great product from GT Omega.

I love the quality of the Seat, IT is better as i imagineer. The amount of flex in the backside is really low. Only note i can give is that the Seat sits very low on my 8040 alu rig and need extentions for my Seat. But this can Differ from rig to rig.

The seat is lovely but it would have been even better if it had come with some instructions on how to put it together... leaving it down to guesswork is a bit shabby....

This racing seat has now completed my son's race frame setup. The XL-RS is perfect for his 6'2" height. He loves it.

I found GT Omega on Amazon Italy and found it interesting I bought Apex Wheel Stand. I immediately found myself well doing a search I arrived at the official website bought ApexRear Set and an XL seat for Apex Wheel now I have a station for Sim Racing of all respect but there is much more. if I were to then make an apgrade I think I would buy Gt Omega again. And the shipment was fast and accurate what to say thank you for your commitment. P.S. I use google traslator not knowing English

The seat is very well made. I see that Omega GT pays attention to reviews as they have updated some of the complaints people had about the seats. This seat has lots of room and is made for bigger people. It is a little on the firm side and I use a lower lumbar pillow for support. I can race hours in this seat with very few issues. For the cost, it is an excellent purchase.

I love my XL-RS seat. I have a large muscular build and this seat fits me greatly! I can fall asleep in the chair if I want to. It was easy to setup on my GT Omega seat stand and I can finally brake hard without sliding backwards like I was on a roller gaming chair. I'm very happy with my GT Omega classic sim rig and I'll be keeping it for a while to come!

The unit is well constructed, the seat excellent. The front unit it attached to seems sturdy enough, could use a bit of bracing to solidify it. No issues with this purchase Shipping was fast. Would buy again if I could do it over again.

I bought the GT Omega classic stand out of sheer luck on Amazon.com. It looked good and sturdy so I decided to get it to pair with my T300RS, TLCM pedals, and TH8a shifter. Low and behold I found out I could buy a seat stand attachment and seat to go with it, so I did so. The XL-RS seat is soooo comfortable. I could fall asleep in it. The whole rig is sturdy and I can hit the clutch and brakes without sliding back anymore. I love that everything is adjustable and I was able to dial it all in just right for my height and leg length. I'm very happy with my GT Omega rig and when Thrustmaster releases their Direct Drive wheel, I hope it will fit with no problem onto my current rig. My favorite sim right now is Automobilista 2 and I feel like I can play it in style!

Chair is moderately comfortable and looks nice but there's what sounds like a squeaky spring every time I lift my back off the chair.

Good seat comfortable a bit heavy

I went from having the steering wheel mounted to the desk, which was ok, but unstable when really getting into racing, therefore then upgraded to a wheel stand, which was a great improvement, but a regular chair just didn’t cut it. Finally purchased this seat for my 11 year old boy, who plays Forza 5. Great experience to say the least. I saw that he enjoyed the experience so much that I purchased a complete set for myself as well. Now we race on Friday nights together, he hasn’t played his Fortnite game since, lol.

Highly recommended does the job

My first seat was unfortunately damaged and it took two weeks to get the replacement parts, which was a little bit unsatisfying from a customer perspective. Beside this I cannot say anything negative about the product. From a quality perspective it can't be compared to my prior racing seat, which was more or less the same price. The racing seat it well made, looks good and is comfortable even on longer sim racing sessions. If you are not a small guy the racing seat seams to be the perfect match from a price-performance ratio.

I recently jumped into sim racing. After finally making a decision on a sim-lab GTEvo-1 I also needed a seat. While I do like the looks of a Sparco or something similar, being a bigger guy I wanted more room with my choice. Checking YouTube I found the XL-RS GtOmega racing seat. Received order in a timely manner with me being in the states. I definitely like the looks and feel of the seat. What a huge difference this seat makes in playing the games. I have a Next Level F-GT sim and didn’t like the seat. Saw a YouTube video of a guy converting to an Omega RS9. Conversion seemed like an easy deal but I am a bigger guy so I thought I would try the XL-RS. Since I like the GT position, I hoped it would fit. It shipped from England and arrived quicker than some stuff from the states. There were two holes in the sliders that lined up with the cross braces of the F-GT Sim perfectly, so I only had to drill four holes just about ¾ of an inch wider than the stock mounts. Perfect fit. The seat is thicker and sits higher in the sim so I had to readjust the wheel position. Couldn’t be happier. This is a perfect solution for the crappy seat that comes with the F-GT. I didn’t try it in the lay down position. Great product and quick service. Recommended

I started out with a play seat evolution which I still use only with the gt omega seat mounted to it. The original play seat does not recline and that is the main reason that I started shopping around for a different seat. I picked the gt omega with the thought that in the future I might upgrade to one of the gt omega sim rig chassis’s. I have used a piece of plywood for the adapter by mounting it to the play seat sim rig chassis and the gt omega seat to it. So far I am very pleased with the results.

It's a nice chair

The seat is very comfortable and just what I wanted. However, I bought it to replace the RS9 seat and now my wheel was is a little low due to the seat sitting higher and my ART rig wheel deck does not extend higher so some DIY needs to be done.

It's a dope seat, it's just made for someone that's 6-6 not 5-10.

I have ordered a couple of items from GTOmega and they have always been more than prompt with their delivery and shipping updates. The seat completes my cockpit build and it's better than I thought it would be. I guess I should have expected the great quality because of the other items also built strong, solid and quality. The seat has all the features I needed and everything works great. I will always recommend GTOmega to anyone who is thinking of buying this seat or any other products. Relatively easy to install. Very comfortable and good quality material. One plastic cover was broken when it arrived, so I emailed Gt Omega and they sent me a replacement. The replacement process fast and very easy! It has only been up for a few days but so far, I love it

I'm building my first rig and needed a big chair as I'm 6'3" and 300 pounds, with a large bone structure, long torso, long legs, broad shoulders/chest. I ordered the XL RS and the seat arrived very quickly and well-packaged with no box damage. However there was an issue with the seat base and Lawrence Z from GTOmega support was stellar in getting me sorted with a replacement base in one week from first communication to resolution. I mounted my seat to my rig and am amazed how comfortable it is, and if you're around my size you'll love this seat! I can't recommend it highly enough, and my customer service experience and purchasing experiences were both top notch!

Decent seat for a bigger person. Not much support but there aren’t many better options for a larger guy. If your a bit wider than other people you’ll sit comfortably in this .
